Concious Choking Seminar

House Bill 384 has mandated public and private school employees who will be present during food service to students be trained in adult and child choking emergencies. The American Red Cross offers a seminar to meet this requirement. The one hour presentation can be scheduled by calling 324-2929 or email us at emennellredcross@alltel.net.

'til Help Arrives

'til Help Arrives is an one-hour program that is offered to community/school groups free of charge. This program reflects the mission of the American Red Cross to prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. In this program, the participant will learn to identify the signs of a medical emergency and how to deal with them until help arrives. Some of the emergencies include breathing difficulties, choking and burns. This program can be modified to reflect the maturity and needs of the participants.
