Disaster Services
When disaster strikes - the Red Cross is there. Disaster strikes without
discrimination and destroys in seconds what has taken a lifetime to construct.
In the next instant, the American Red Cross is already assembling a team to
provide the immediate, emergency care vital to the victims of that disaster. We
are first on the scene, always with compassion and the best possible care.
The Lorain County Chapter, American Red Cross provides this service through a highly skilled and trained cadre´ (corp) of volunteers. Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week these volunteers are ready to assist disaster victims and since disasters take no holidays, these volunteers leave their families to help others.
